SOUTH AFRICA: Scheduled for October this year, the inaugural African Boating Conference will be hosted in Cape Town and aims to provide a broad perspective of the recreational marine sector on the continent.

ANGOLA: The Angolan government has announced new measures to reduce overcapacity of the fishing fleet and improve the monitoring of the sector through the signing of a Presidential Decree that aims to decrease the fleet by 20% by 2026 and introduce drone monitoring.

SOUTH AFRICA: The 11th Annual Port Performance Roadshow for the South African Port system is scheduled for May to provide port users with the opportunity to engage on issues impacting the country’s eight commercial ports falling under the Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA).
