PORT ENERGY TRANSITION: ADAPTIVE GOVERNANCE AND STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION
The webinar will explore the emerging technologies reshaping ports, such as alternative fuels, shore power and electrification, and digitalization and smart energy management. It will also address the enabling conditions that determine whether these transitions succeed, namely the infrastructure and investment required and the stakeholder governance that brings the different actors together.
Bringing together European and Inter-American port policy, academic and industry expertise, and frontline experience from a developing economy, the webinar offers a practical, cross-regional and inclusive perspective, highlighting the role of women, global cooperation and capacity development in building resilient, future-ready ports.
