SHIPPING ROUTES UNDER PRESSURE

Hapag-Lloyd Webinar

Geopolitical shifts, trade policy changes, and regional disruptions continue to shape global trade in 2025, adding to uncertainty across the industry.

DATE: 19 November 2025
VENUE:  Virtual
FORMAT: Webinar
COST: Free

Shipping routes remain under pressure amid risks in the Red Sea and congestion at key ports. While volumes have grown on major trades, demand is uneven and freight rates remain volatile. New environmental regulations and expanding fleet capacity are prompting carriers to adapt their operations and sustainability priorities.

To help navigate these developments, Hapag-Lloyd is bringing together industry experts to reflect on the second half of 2025 and share their outlook for 2026.

PANEL:

  • Lars Jensen is a leading maritime analyst. He is CEO and Partner of Vespucci Maritime.
  • Michael Aldwell is Executive Vice President Sea Logistics at Kühne+Nagel since 2023.
  • Rolf Habben Jansen is CEO of Hapag-Lloyd AG since 2014.

During the session you are welcome to ask all questions you might have. Confirm your attendance by November 18, 2025.
