Container terminal concession extended

Extension linked to investment commitments

MOROCCO: Marsa Maroc’s TC3 concession at the Port of Casablanca operated by TC3PC has been extended for 20 years following the confirmation of a major investment program aimed at increasing the terminal's capacity from 600,000 to 900,000 TEU by 2030.

As part of this initiative the Marsa Maroc Group will undertake investments covering dock extensions, reinforcement of equipment, and reorganisation of storage areas in its two container terminals. These investments will enable the Group to exceed the two million TEU capacity mark at the Port of Casablanca by 2030.

The extension of the TC3 concession period, combined with a structuring investment program, reflects a long-term vision aimed at sustainably strengthening the capacity and operational performance of the Marsa Maroc Group's container terminals at the Port of Casablanca, and consolidating the latter's position as a major gateway in support of Morocco's logistics and port competitiveness.
