APPOINTMENT: Ships Registrar

NIMASA appoints new Registrar of Ships

NIGERIA: Following ministerial approval, Barrister Adenike Adeyele Iyelolu has been confirmed as the Registrar of Ships for the country.

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola has officially approved the four-year tenure following the recommendation of the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr Dayo Mobereola.

Currently a Deputy Director at NIMASA, Iyelolu has over 25 years of experience spanning the maritime legal sector and is skilled in arbitration, administration, corporate governance as well as institutional leadership.

She has several international degrees and diplomas and completed her LLM International Maritime Law degree at the International Law Institute in Malta in 2009.
