New service links Asia and Africa

Streamlining trade

CMA CGM has launched a new service to streamline trade between Asia and Africa connecting the Far East to Kenya, Tanzania and the Indian Ocean.

The new weekly standalone direct service, Kilima, from China to Kenya and Tanzania recorded its first call to Mombasa last week on 24 August.

A fleet of eight vessels will call at 10 ports including Mombasa, Mogadishu, Nacala and Comoros – and extensive access to Asian ports is guaranteed via efficient transshipment in Singapore.
